Features
Everything a tile-laying game needs
Strategic Placement
Place and rotate tiles to build connected cities, roads and monasteries. Every placement counts — edges must match exactly.
Meeple System
Deploy your 7 meeples to claim features. Complete a city or road to score points and reclaim your meeple for the next move.
AI Opponents
Three difficulty levels: Easy, Medium and Hard. The hard AI evaluates all placements and actively blocks your best moves.
Online Multiplayer
Play with friends anywhere in the world via a 6-digit room code. Powered by Firebase Realtime Database — no account needed.
Mobile Optimised
Designed for smartphone portrait mode. Pinch-to-zoom, drag to pan, double-tap to rotate. Installs as a PWA on your home screen.
German & English
Full bilingual support. Switch language anytime in the main menu — all UI texts, toasts and log entries adapt instantly.
Rules
How to play
Tilelands follows the classic Carcassonne rules. Each turn takes just a few seconds to learn but offers deep strategic decisions.
1
Draw a tile
Each turn you receive one random tile showing a combination of cities (orange), roads (sandy) and fields (green). A deck of 72+ tiles is shuffled at the start.
2
Place & rotate
Place the tile adjacent to any existing tile. All touching edges must match exactly — city to city, road to road, field to field. Tap the tile preview or double-tap the board to rotate.
3
Deploy a meeple
Optionally place one of your meeples on a feature of the just-placed tile: a city segment, a road, a field or a monastery. The meeple stays until the feature is completed.
4
Score points
Completed cities (2 pts/tile), roads (1 pt/tile) and monasteries (9 pts) score immediately. At game end, all incomplete features score reduced points. Highest score wins.
