Hotelish is a digital tribute to the legendary Hotel board game by MB Games. Buy properties, build luxury hotels, and collect overnight fees from your opponents – all directly in the browser, no installation required.
The game runs fully offline thanks to Service Worker caching and is installable as a Progressive Web App. Play solo against AI opponents of varying difficulty, locally with up to 4 players on one device, or online with friends via a private room code.

Getting Started
Choose Players & Mode
Set the number of players (1–4), choose names and colours, then pick a mode: Single Player, Local, or Online.
Roll & Move
Tap "Roll". Your token moves automatically around the board. Doubles let you roll again – three doubles in a row sends you to jail.
Buy Properties
Landing on an unowned space lets you purchase it. Own every space in a colour group to unlock hotel construction.
Build Hotels
Use the Build menu to erect hotels on your complete colour groups. Each upgrade level dramatically raises the rent.
Drive Opponents Bankrupt
A player unable to pay rent is eliminated. The last player with assets wins.
Difficulty Levels
Easy
Buys randomly and rarely builds. Perfect for beginners and children.
Medium
Buys everything, prioritises complete groups, builds strategically.
Hard
Strategic building, auction valuation and cash flow management.
How Would You Like to Play?
Single Player (vs AI)
Play alone against 1–3 AI opponents. Choose the difficulty individually per opponent. No internet required.
Local (Hot-Seat)
Up to 4 human players on one device. Great for game nights – just pass the phone around.
Online (Private Room)
Create a room and share the 6-digit code with friends. Up to 4 players, host-authoritative. Everyone plays on their own device.
Under the Hood
Hotelish is written entirely in Vanilla JavaScript – no frameworks, no external runtime dependencies. It loads fast, runs in every modern browser, and is installable as a PWA.
